Fall colours of Atlantic Canada 2025

Hovering just above the U.S border and more particularly, New England lies a wealth of locations full of the same autumnal colours as its American neighbour.

This tour is built to travel through the Atlantic Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Quebec at the most sensational time of the year- Fall!

Beginning in Halifax NS, we will explore Nova Scotia from National Parks, to coastal lighthouses and varying landscapes in-between. Nova Scotia is famous for its quaint fishing towns, wonderful views and beauty almost everywhere you look.

We will spend two nights around the western half of NS before moving East for one night in Cape Breton Island exploring the region and yet another incredible national park – Cqpe Breton Highlands.

Moving westward from here will will travel across New Brunswick slowly, absorbing many beautiful regions as we travel to the border of Quebec .

Quebec is outstanding for fall colours with varying landscapes to photograph. After a night or two in the South east of this wonderful province, we will begin to head to the central south, hugging the border often to explore the most incredible colours Canada has to offer in the fall.

We will be spending two nights in Quebec City, using this is a base from which to explore before moving to Montreal to do the very same again.

In this region there are too many locations to list. Multiple National Parks will be available to us and the tour will become even more reactive to the weather, conditions and colours.

All hotels will be of the best standard available and will be very decent to say the least. Bookings will be made to ensure we have great food options although photographing these incredible landscapes in the best light will always be the priority of the trip.

Around fall, mist is very likely in the mornings and we will aim to be out early as often as possible to capitalise on this. Unless we are on the coast, sunsets will be trickier as we will be on the eastern coast facing away from the light, nevertheless we will do the best we can!
